Q: What is Veeam Cloud Connect and how does it work?
A: Veeam Cloud Connect enables secure offsite backups to our cloud infrastructure without the need to manage a secondary site. Your backups are encrypted and transmitted directly from your Veeam environment to our secure storage hosted in Teraco data centres. This provides an additional layer of protection against hardware failure, cyber threats, or site-wide disasters.
Q: How is our backup data stored?
A: All backup data is securely stored in Teraco data centres in South Africa. Teraco facilities offer enterprise-grade security, redundancy, and environmental controls to ensure your data remains protected and highly available at all times.
Q: What types of workloads can you protect?
A: We provide backup solutions for virtual machines (VMs), physical servers, and workstations. This includes Veeam VM licences for virtual environments as well as Veeam Agent licences for Windows and Linux servers and endpoints.
